About Zest Food Tours

Zest Food Tours of New Zealand was founded in 2003.

We believe a great way to discover somewhere new is through the food and the locals.

Join us to sample your way through Wellington's coffee, gelato, chocolate, cheese, and other exceptional regional produce as we introduce you to culinary treasures visitors often miss. And meet the people behind some of the city's best food.

Or discover the historic township of Greytown and the celebrated Martinborough wine region, particularly revered for its award-winning pinot noir production, meeting many food and wine producers along the way.

On most tours you will meet other like-minded food lovers, to share food experiences and travel tips for the rest of your time in our beautiful country.

Our Zest guides are here to welcome you

The heart and soul of a Zest food tour is the guide.

We have a wonderful group of trained guides, who are all warm-hearted, hospitable 'gourmet encyclopaedias' and Wellington locals. They are also fully first aid trained, and mindful of health and safety.

They will host you with warmth, humour and insight to give you a uniquely Wellington experience as you see, sniff, sip or slurp to your heart's content. And do their best to answer any question you throw their way.

We also speak a range of languages across our guides - Danish, Dutch, French, German, Mandarin - so please contact us to discuss any language requirements you may have.

We are also honoured to be a Qualmark Endorsed Visitor Activity, and look forward to hosting you soon.
